What is pcod?

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Profile Blood is a test that assesses the functions and levels of various hormones in your body. PCOD is a condition that affects women. PCOD is characterized by an enlarged, watery cyst on the ovary that can rupture and release fluid into the abdomen.

Ovulation is a phase in the menstrual cycle which is the release of the egg from a woman’s ovary. Some of the factors for PCOD to occur are heredity, unhealthy lifestyle, Obesity, Lack of nutrition, Excess insulin.

PCOD is a condition that affects the ovaries and can cause infertility. It is one of the most common endocrine disorders in women of reproductive age, affecting about 10% of women in this group. PCOD is caused by an imbalance between male hormones (androgens) and female hormones.
